What to know before visiting
Near the upper funicular exit, the square has a dog area. Dogs must remain on leads on the paths leading to it. The City lists drinking water and refers visitors to the paid lavatory at 1 rue Lamarck for toilets. The neighbouring wall belongs to the Montmartre reservoir, adding a hydraulic heritage perspective to the summit. The garden does not grant reservoir access.
